You and your best friend had grown up together, became best friends, virtually siblings, and you love that person like they are of your own family, and you are basically the same person.. same personality, same sense of humor, are interested in the same subjects and sports, share the same opinions, and are of the same intelligence, and only one thing separates you apart.. You two are of a different ethnicity, and one day you get a letter home saying that the government does not believe that people of that ethnicity have the right to live, and that they will all be killed off in a matter of a month. You have a few choices, fight for them with everything you have, send them away to a safe place before they are captured, go away with them, hide them in your home, go with them until the end, or just stand by while your secondary family is killed off for no other reason then the government not liking their ethnic background. But you have to think, if your family is caught trying to help them, they can be imprisoned or even killed. What would you do ? Just sitting around and waiting for them to be killed off while your family stays safe seems completely 100 percent insane, of course, but the whole world stood by while the Holocaust was happening, and when 11 million people were killed for no good reason. What would you do ?
